About Roger Lotte: (b. 1922 - d. 1989) French archetier and bow maker. His father was François Lotte, also a bowmaker and son of a violinmaker. His mother was Marguerite Ouchard, who was also from a family of bowmakers. Roger studied the art of bow making with his father and took over his shop around 1960.
