Made in 1898 by Jean-Baptiste Colin. LOB 359 mm.
This instrument remains in excellent condition. It was probably played lightly by only one musician. It has a wonderful, strong, and penetrating sound - an excellent professional instrument.
Colin was based in Mirecourt, though sometimes also in Paris. He often uses the Collin-Mezin style or Vuillaume.
