David Techler Romae 1703 (SOLD)

LOB 358mm. Violin labeled David Techler Romae 1703. This is most likely a violin made between 1880 and 1920, in the town of Schonburg on the German-Czech border. It is a very well-made instrument, reminding me of the patterns used by the Hopf family in Klingenthal. This instrument has no cracks and it has a new bass bar installed in our shop, and it now sounds terrific! We also installed a new fingerboard, new bridge, and fixture. This instrument has a wonderful playability. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.
